Electrical Design Engineer, Data Center Design Engineering, Data Center Design Engineering

Responsible for the design and innovation of electrical distribution systems for global data centers, taking projects from concept to construction documents. This includes collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, reviewing equipment submittals, and supporting the commissioning process.

Responsibilities

• Data center electrical designs and collaboration with other disciplines to create a construction document set
• Creation of designs which meet or exceed quality requirements and fall within budgetary requirements
• Work with local agencies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and municipal requirements and building codes
• Review and approval of equipment submittals
• Define project scope and provide technical support for information requests prior to, and during construction phases
• Work with commissioning teams to properly test and validate installation, operation, and performance of electrical systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods of data center equipment and facilities
• Experience in commissioning
• 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission-critical facilities
• Experience with US building codes and regulations
