Principal UX Designer

The Principal UX Designer will define the UX vision for first-to-market industrial technology products and create intuitive interfaces for robotic systems. You will collaborate with engineering and safety teams to develop scalable design systems and complex user flows that simplify industrial operations.
Responsibilities
- Work in a highly ambiguous environment to define UX in a first to market product
- Set vision and execute on building intuitive interfaces and experiences for industrial technology applications
- Create user flows and interaction patterns that simplify complex operations for customers
- Develop and maintain scalable design systems
- Partner with User Researcher or lead user research initiatives with operators and field personnel
- Build and test prototypes for various use cases
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and safety teams
- Ensure consistency across multiple services and interfaces
- Document and communicate design decisions effectively
Requirements
- Experience in usability testing
- Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar
- 13+ years of UX designer or interaction designer experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating complex system design
- Proven track record of shipping production-ready designs
