Principal UX Designer

Define the UX vision and execute intuitive interfaces for first-to-market industrial robotics and automation technology. Create scalable design systems, user flows, and prototypes while collaborating with engineering and safety teams to simplify complex operations.
Responsibilities
- Work in a highly ambiguous environment to define UX in a first to market product
- Set vision and execute on building intuitive interfaces and experiences for industrial technology applications
- Create user flows and interaction patterns that simplify complex operations for customers
- Develop and maintain scalable design systems
- Partner with User Researcher or lead user research initiatives with operators and field personnel
- Build and test prototypes for various use cases
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and safety teams
- Ensure consistency across multiple services and interfaces
- Document and communicate design decisions effectively
Requirements
- Experience in usability testing
- Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar
- 13+ years of UX designer or interaction designer experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating complex system design
- Proven track record of shipping production-ready designs
