Engineering Design Manager, Structural, North America Design & Construction

Oversee multiple engineering programs to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards while implementing program-wide strategies. Serve as a primary liaison between internal stakeholders, external design teams, and general contractors to drive standardization across building sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
• Develop and implement program-wide strategies, processes, and best practices
• Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to align engineering programs with overall organizational goals
• Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
• Provide technical guidance and expertise on engineering systems and technologies
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, designers, and project managers
• Establish and maintain quality control processes for engineering systems and programs
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on engineering-related matters
• Develop and manage program budgets
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in engineering systems

Requirements

• 7+ years of project management, real estate development, architecture/design experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Professional Engineer License
• Experience in project management, or experience in construction
