The Design Manager will oversee design teams, establish delivery schedules, and ensure design quality aligns with internal guidelines. They are responsible for coordinating multidisciplinary teams, resolving technical discrepancies, and providing technical support for procurement and construction implementation.
Responsibilities
- Following up on design team progress and establishing calendars and priorities
- Coordinating internal and external teams
- Directing design teams in initial project phases and subsequent work phases
- Identifying and resolving discrepancies and problems
Requirements
- Engineering or architecture degree with 12+ years of experience
- Leadership and team management skills
- Good communication and commitment
- Experience in RIBA-standard projects and CPDs (valued)
