The web designer will confer with clients to identify and document website requirements, design and integrate website-related code, and create and optimize content for websites. They will also lead multidisciplinary teams to develop website graphics, content, and interactivity, and provide ongoing support to clients after sale.
Responsibilities
- Confer with clients to identify requirements
- Consult with clients to develop and document website requirements
- Design and integrate website-related code
- Write, modify and test website-related code
- Prepare mock-ups and storyboards
- Source, select and organize information for inclusion and design the appearance, layout and flow of the website
- Create and optimize content for the website using a variety of graphics, database, animation and other software
- Research and evaluate a variety of interactive media software products
- Lead and co-ordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop website graphics, content, capacity and interactivity
- Usability testing
- Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- Computer and technology knowledge
- Experience with Jira, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, multimedia software, image editing software, HTML editing software, website creation and management software, Ajax, JQuery, Git, Adobe XD, Bootstrap, Figma, GitHub
