Junior UX Designer
Deloitte Netherlands 🇳🇱 Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands
The role involves conducting qualitative user research and creating iterative designs such as wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and developers to implement accessible user interface designs in Figma.
Responsibilities
- Conduct qualitative user research (e.g. user testing, interviews, focus groups)
- Participate in and co-facilitate workshops with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex problems
- Design user flows, wireframes, and mockups based on user insights
- Set up and utilize a design system to deliver pixel-perfect designs
- Design digital and physical prototypes to test and learn from
- Bring concepts to life and create accessible user interface designs ready for production
- Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to ensure optimal implementation of designs in Figma
Requirements
- Degree in a relevant field (e.g. Human-Computer Interaction, Experience Design, Communication, Multimedia Design)
- Portfolio showcasing design process and results
- Ability to translate research observations into critical insights and actionable recommendations
- Experience with design workshops and presenting designs to stakeholders
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent command of Dutch and English languages
