Product Designer

The Product Designer will create intuitive, user-centered digital experiences by translating user needs and business objectives into wireframes and prototypes. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to evolve the enterprise design system and ensure accessibility standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Apply user-centered design principles to create useful, usable, and desirable digital experiences across web-based products and platforms
- Translate user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints into wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and other design artifacts that communicate design intent effectively
- Conduct and synthesize user research using a variety of established methodologies, including interviews, usability testing, competitive analysis, journey mapping, and market research
- Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of multiple factors and perspectives
- Exercise judgment within established design practices, processes, and guidelines to determine appropriate solutions and recommendations
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, QA, and other stakeholders to define requirements, align on priorities, and deliver high-quality user experiences
- Contribute to and help evolve CORE UI, Epsilon's enterprise design system, while ensuring designs meet accessibility and WCAG standards
- Participate in usability testing activities and incorporate findings into iterative design improvements
- Build productive working relationships across teams and functions to support successful product outcomes
- Stay current with emerging UX practices, tools, technologies, and industry trends to continuously improve design quality and effectiveness
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 2+ years of professional experience in Product Design, UX Design, Interaction Design, or a related discipline
- Experience creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and other UX deliverables
- Understanding of user-centered design principles, research methodologies, and usability best practices
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Working knowledge of visual design principles and interaction design patterns
- Familiarity with modern web technologies and how design decisions impact implementation, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Portfolio demonstrating a thoughtful design process and strong user-centered solutions
