UX Researcher - Ads - USDS

The UX Researcher will explore user behavior across the advertising experience and post-ad purchase journey, using data analysis and user research to identify friction points. They will lead end-to-end user research and translate findings into actionable recommendations for business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Explore user behavior across the advertising experience and post-ad purchase journey, using data analysis and user research to identify friction points and inform product, strategy, and growth opportunities
• Lead end-to-end user research using both quantitative and qualitative methods, balancing speed and depth to support business priorities
• Match and integrate survey and research data with backend behavioral data to analyze correlations, identify discrepancies, and validate user-reported insights

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in user research, behavioral science, data analysis, or related roles
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, SPSS, or equivalent
• Solid grasp of statistical methods (sampling, confidence intervals, p-values) to ensure the reliability of insights
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex research insights to diverse stakeholders and proactively influence decision-making and implementation
