Design Manager Warmtenetten

As a Design Manager, you will lead the design phase of complex sustainability projects, ensuring technical accuracy and safety. You will collaborate with engineering firms and internal teams to develop heat and cold storage systems from concept to realization.
Responsibilities
- Translating area developments and customer questions into technical solutions
- Managing external design and engineering partners
- Assessing designs, calculations, and technical documentation
- Monitoring design quality, technical risks, and starting points
- Supporting realization, testing, and technical acceptance
Requirements
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in designing WKO, ground energy, or collective heat and cold supply systems and asset management issues within energy infrastructure
- Experience with thermal modeling, energy simulations, and system analyses
- Experience with managing external design or engineering partners
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations for ground energy
- Completed Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Technology, Technical Physics, Civil Engineering, or similar
