The successful candidate will supervise daily production activities to ensure quality standards and production targets are met. They will also manage a team of production staff and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Supervising daily production activities to meet quality standards, production targets, and deadlines
- Ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations across the production floor
- Managing and coordinating a team of production staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
- Monitoring production metrics and preparing reports for management review
- Collaborating with quality assurance and maintenance teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize processes
- Maintaining accurate documentation related to production processes, safety logs, and inventory control
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations
- Proficiency in using production management software and standard MS Office applications
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Fluent in German, additional language skills a plus
