The UI/UX Designer is responsible for creating user-centered interfaces, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications. They maintain design systems and collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation and smooth handoff.
Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into user flows, sitemaps, and IA (information architecture)
- Create wireframes and prototypes to validate structure and interactions before UI polish
- Identify UX risks early (edge cases, errors, empty states) and propose solutions
- Run lightweight user testing when appropriate and iterate based on feedback
- Design high-fidelity UI screens for web and mobile with strong typography, spacing, and hierarchy
- Build and maintain design systems: components, tokens, styles, and documentation
- Ensure responsive behavior: desktop/tablet/mobile layouts and breakpoints
- Create interaction specs and micro-interactions guidance for developers/motion team
- Prepare developer-ready handoff: component specs, spacing, typography, states, and behaviors
- Collaborate with developers to clarify feasibility and ensure accurate implementation
- Work with PM/Account to manage scope, priorities, and deadlines
- Coordinate with content/copy teams to ensure UI supports messaging and conversion goals
- Ensure usability and accessibility basics (contrast, tap targets, keyboard navigation where applicable)
- Design for conversion on landing pages: clear hierarchy, CTAs, and trust elements
- Support QA by reviewing implementation and flagging UI/UX issues before release
Requirements
- 3+ years UI/UX design experience (agency or product experience preferred)
- Strong portfolio showing web and/or app UI, UX flows, and design systems
- High proficiency in Figma (components, auto-layout, variants, prototyping)
- Strong understanding of UX principles and ability to justify decisions
- Experience designing responsive layouts and working with developers
- Arabic/English communication for briefs and collaboration
