The Graphic Designer will create age-appropriate educational assets and layouts for K-12 materials, translating complex curriculum concepts into visually engaging illustrations. They will work within client guidelines to ensure high-quality educational content delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop vector illustrations, infographics, maps, and diagrams that adhere strictly to client style guides, color palettes, and technical specifications
- Adapt graphics to match specific age groups within K-12 educational levels, ensuring developmental appropriateness
- Source, crop, and color-correct imagery to meet diversity and asset guidelines
- Design and place chapter openers, feature boxes, icons, and other components that seamlessly integrate into provided InDesign templates
- Organize, name, and package digital assets systematically according to the client’s file structure and delivery requirements
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to incorporate feedback efficiently
Requirements
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator for creating vector graphics
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for image editing
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign for layout integration
- Minimum of 2 years of professional graphic design experience
- Strong understanding of developmental stages across K-12 education
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple assets simultaneously
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and clients for feedback and revisions
