3D Web Designer

Lead the visual design and front-end experience for the Sphere Technology website by building immersive 3D web experiences. This includes creating interactive animations, optimizing 3D assets, and maintaining design consistency across digital touchpoints.

Responsibilities

• Design and build immersive 3D web experiences using Three.js, WebGL, or comparable libraries
• Lead the visual design direction for the Sphere Technology website from wireframe through production
• Create interactive 3D animations, scroll-driven sequences, and particle systems that align with brand identity
• Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration of 3D assets into the web environment
• Optimize 3D scenes and assets for performance across desktop and mobile devices

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in web design with a strong 3D/WebGL portfolio
• Proficiency in Three.js, WebGL, GLSL shaders, or similar 3D web technologies
• Strong command of Figma for UX/UI design and prototyping
• Experience with 3D modeling and animation tools (Blender, Cinema 4D, or equivalent)
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (React preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to optimize 3D assets for web performance (LOD, texture compression, lazy loading)
