Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer will create and edit graphic and visual assets for the UConn Library, collaborating with staff to produce marketing materials. They will also manage the library's identity and branding while providing project management support.
Responsibilities
- Designs, creates, and edits graphic and visual assets for the UConn Library
- Actively collaborates with UConn Library staff to create and edit marketing materials and educational resources
- Serves as a consultant to staff and researchers regarding the most effective design to produce desired outreach
- Serves as the final authority of staff and student employees-created outreach materials to ensure standards of quality are met
- Actively manages the identity and branding of the UConn Library
- Provides expertise in the creation of signage and design elements for the UConn Library's physical and virtual spaces
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a design field relevant to the position
- Minimum of three years of related professional experience
- Demonstrated experience with current graphic design principles and practices
- Advanced experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Demonstrated experience providing student employee supervision
- Reliable and professional interpersonal and communication skills
