Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer creates visually compelling digital and print marketing materials to engage the university community and support library services. The role also involves managing the library's brand identity and supervising student employees within the Communication & Marketing unit.
Responsibilities
- Designs, creates, and edits graphic and visual assets for the UConn Library in both digital and print formats
- Actively collaborates with UConn Library staff to create and edit marketing materials and educational resources
- Serves as a consultant to staff and researchers regarding the most effective design to produce desired outreach
- Manages the identity and branding of the UConn Library
- Provides expertise in the creation of signage and design elements for the UConn Library's physical and virtual spaces
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a design field relevant to the position
- Minimum of three years of related professional experience
- Demonstrated experience with current graphic design principles and practices
- Advanced experience with Adobe Creative Suite
