The Senior Staff Product Designer will lead the development of high-quality customer experiences for Coupang's core e-commerce services. This role involves overseeing the design lifecycle and collaborating with various stakeholders to define release strategies for new product categories.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute high-priority company-wide projects and design initiatives
- Drive product design maturity and business growth, and contribute to the development of the Coupang app
- Optimize and improve existing and new features across various product categories
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define release strategies for new product categories
- Apply data-based insights and decision-making to improve customer journeys
- Identify design problems and inefficiencies, and design scalable solutions
- Build capabilities and set standards for the wider organization, and serve as a leadership role model
Requirements
- 13+ years of experience in product design and leadership
- Experience in leading and launching high-quality designs and products
- Experience in design sprints, team brainstorming, and ideation sessions
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Data-driven decision-making and design process expertise
- Marketplace and consumer platform knowledge
- Graphic design, interaction design, industrial design, HCI, computer engineering, or psychology degree or equivalent experience
