Lead Product Designer
Fonio.ai Remote (đŠđč Vienna, Austria)
As Lead Product Designer, you will be responsible for the overall design, branding, and team leadership. You will engage in hands-on product design and collaborate closely with engineering and founders.
Responsibilities
- Hands-on product design, customer interviews, and branding (50% of time)
- Ownership of three product areas in collaboration with product engineering
- Ownership of brand in collaboration with staff designer
- Leadership of design team, including website, branding, and product design (50% of time)
- Close collaboration with engineering and founders
- Building customer understanding through regular customer conversations
- Setting design standards for fonio across product, web, and brand
Requirements
- Proficiency in Figma and customer interviews
- Product and analytics experience
- Senior IC with lead ambition
- Pragmatism and ability to simplify complexity
- Experience with design systems and scaling design across multiple product areas
- AI-first mindset and experience with modern AI tools
- Native German language skills and good English
