Head of Design (48.000 – 60.000 € p/a)

The Head of Design will establish the design function within a regulated FinTech environment, focusing on end-to-end design for complex financial products. Initially hands-on, the role will evolve towards strategy and leadership as the team grows.
Responsibilities
- Creating end-to-end experiences for complex financial products
- Defining the vision and principles of UX/UI design
- Building a design system from scratch
- Managing a team of designers
- Collaborating with product managers and engineers
- Working in a regulated environment with compliance, risk, and legal stakeholders
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI or product design with growing responsibilities
- Proven ability to transition from individual contributor to team lead
- Direct experience in fintech, payments, or crypto products, with a solid understanding of wallet interactions, signing flows, and transaction logic
- Ability to work in a regulated environment with compliance, risk, and legal stakeholders
- Mastery of Figma, Jira, and Adobe Suite
- Experience in building a design system from scratch and managing at least one designer
