The Network Design Manager will strategically design and plan the omnichannel logistics network by modeling and optimizing networks. This includes analyzing large datasets to forecast future demand and collaborating with teams to implement improvements.
Responsibilities
- Analyze large databases to model future demand
- Design and develop logistics network optimization models
- Evaluate network scenarios considering cost and service impact
- Identify operational needs for long-term growth
- Generate scalable and efficient network design solutions
- Collaborate with teams to implement logistics network improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Administration, Commerce, or related field
- More than 6 years of experience in logistics network design, ideally in e-commerce or retail
- Experience in logistics network modeling and optimization
- Solid knowledge of end-to-end supply chain management
- Experience in omnichannel logistics or e-commerce
- Proficiency in Python, Gurobi, or Supply Chain Guru, Optilogic / Blue Yonder
- Advanced Excel skills and data analysis tools
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Effective communication, result-oriented, and team collaboration
