Head of Design Womenswear (m/w/d)

The Head of Design Womenswear will develop collection concepts based on creative direction and company strategy while managing the design team. They will oversee the development of market-oriented collections, ensuring quality, fit, and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and implementation of concept meetings and workshops
• Close collaboration with technology, pattern making, and procurement departments
• Accompaniment of collection development from the first idea to the sales sample
• Regular coordination with product management, sales, and marketing to ensure optimal product design
• Conducting research and trend analysis to identify relevant market and lifestyle developments
• Presentation and handover of collections to sales

Requirements

• Several years of experience in Womenswear Design
• Successfully completed studies in Fashion Design or a comparable qualification
• Strong trend awareness and fashion development sense
• Conceptual strength in developing and aligning collections
• Excellent form, color, and style understanding
• High quality awareness and in-depth product knowledge
• Strong organizational skills and process understanding
• High flexibility, reliability, and strong team orientation
• Strong communication skills, commitment, and hands-on mentality
