Develop signage that adheres to project aesthetics and complete wayfinding programs for traffic assistance. Collaborate with architects and interior designers to ensure compliance with standards and enhance design performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop interior, exterior, and wayfinding signage that adheres to the project’s style, theme, and aesthetic
- Complete signage and wayfinding programs to assist with vehicular and pedestrian traffic
- Collaborate with architects and interior designers as needed
- Design unique and informative signage
- Decide appropriate materials and finishes for all designs
- Use new or improved materials in design to enhance performance and solve design challenges
- Ensure compliance with accessibility and safety standards (ADA guidelines)
Requirements
- 3-5 years of professional design experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, CAD software, and Corel Draw
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with excellent time management
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
- Strong understanding of construction terminology and fabrication processes
