Environmental Graphic Designer, Senior - Office of the University Architect

The Environmental Graphic Designer, Senior will maintain maps, signs, and directories across campuses, working collaboratively with clients to design graphics that enhance the campus environment. They will also develop university graphic design standards and prepare documentation for leadership review.
Responsibilities
- Develop and govern university environmental graphic design standards, signage guidelines, fabrication details, and implementation procedures
- Prepare presentations, visualizations, reports, recommendations, and supporting documentation for leadership review and decision-making
- Proof for consistency and adherence to established printing and quality standards/specifications
- Create and prepare floor plans to determine placement
- Conduct construction drawing reviews
- Coordinate and lead the work of others
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and three years of experience in graphic design, environmental graphic design, or related field
- Knowledge of project management, process improvement, and organizational workflow development
- Knowledge of accessibility, life safety, and building code signage requirements
- Skill in verbal and written communication, presentation development, editing, and proofreading
