Senior Antenna Design Systems Engineer

The Senior Antenna Design Systems Engineer will lead the development and qualification of multi-band antenna systems for satellite communication. This includes reviewing designs, developing test plans, and coordinating testing activities.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead for the development and qualification of satellite communication antenna systems
- Review and assess antenna and RF subsystem designs provided by external vendors
- Develop detailed antenna verification and validation plans
- Define and execute comprehensive test scenarios covering RF performance, environmental qualification, reliability, and operational requirements
- Analyze antenna parameters including gain, G/T, EIRP, beam patterns, polarization purity, sidelobe performance, isolation, VSWR, and cross-polarization characteristics
Requirements
- MS in Electrical Engineering, or closely related field
- 7+ years of experience in satellite communications, RF systems engineering, or antenna development
- Experience with C-band, L-band, and/or S-band antenna systems
- Knowledge of antenna measurements, RF testing methodologies, and performance characterization
- Experience reviewing vendor designs and managing technical interfaces with suppliers
- Familiarity with satellite communication system architecture, link budgets, and antenna performance metrics
