Mechanical Design Systems Engineer

The Mechanical Design Systems Engineer will lead and manage design engineering functions for projects, including the design and creation of production drawings for reciprocating compressor packages. This role involves specifying system components, performing engineering analyses, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Specify and size system components to support the compressor
- Create equipment production drawing and bill of material packages for manufacturing
- Perform engineering analyses via various internal software programs, excel spreadsheets, or hand calculations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent)
- 1+ years of experience in air/gas handling, rotating equipment, or heavy industrial environments
- Ability to perform engineering calculations and interpret technical drawings
- Familiarity with industry standards (ANSI, ASME, ASTM, API, MIL, SAE)
