Web Designer

The web designer will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to design, create, and maintain the visual aesthetics and usability of the college's websites. Responsibilities include building and managing forms, analyzing data reports, and assisting with website maintenance and updates.
Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and test website information architecture and user experience workflows
- Translate ideas and organizational goals into wireframes, mockups, user flows, process flows, journey maps, and site maps
- Collaborate with marketing and communications, as well as back-end development teams, to support organizational objectives
- Build, maintain, and manage forms using Qualtrics and related software platforms
- Compile, analyze, and generate online data reports to support reporting requirements and data-informed decision-making
Requirements
- 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience
- Bachelor's degree + 2 years of directly related work experience or master's degree
- Experience with Drupal or similar Content Management Systems (CMS)
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and front-end web development principles, including working knowledge of JavaScript
- Understanding of UX/UI principles, wireframing, information architecture, and responsive web design
