Product Designer

The Product Designer owns end-to-end user experiences, from conducting user research and prototyping to implementing high-quality design materials. They collaborate with product managers and engineers to maintain a consistent design system across four products.
Responsibilities
- Owning end-to-end user experiences, from user research to rapid prototyping
- Planning and leading user research to inform problem definition and prioritization
- Designing end-to-end experiences using a design-thinking approach
- Creating rapid iterations of mockups and prototypes for discovery and validation
- Organizing, recruiting, and leading user testing sessions on new functionality
- Analyzing findings and communicating key insights to drive team decisions
- Working within and extending our robust design system
- Creating high-quality design materials, including wireframes, mockups, and style guides
- Collaborating with engineering to ensure design specs are implemented
- Contributing to product roadmap development and helping define requirements
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience in user research and UI/UX design, or 2+ years with a completed UX/UI design program or related degree
- Portfolio with examples of led research and product design
- Solid grasp of user-centered design process, UX best practices, and methodologies
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools, and user testing platforms
