Assistant Electrical Design Manager

The Assistant Electrical Design Manager assists the Engineering Design Manager in conducting design reviews and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and requirements. They also monitor timelines of deliverables and communicate necessary actions to external design consultants.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Engineering Design Manager in the review of MEPFS & CS coming from external design consultants
- Participate in meetings and discussions to identify potential value engineering and cost-saving items prior to project implementation
- Assist the Engineering Design Manager in the review and evaluation of design parameters proposed by external design consultants
- Ensure that all action items from the evaluation are properly executed and closed
- Assist the Engineering Design Manager in monitoring the timelines of deliverables of external design consultants
- Provide necessary action and communication to external design consultants whenever attainment of deliverables is compromised
Requirements
- Graduate of Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
- Board exam passer with a valid PRC license
- At least three years of extensive work experience as Design Assistant Manager from a property developer, real estate, contractor, or consulting firm
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence
- Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
- Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
