Product Designer - E-Commerce
Phorest Software Remote (🇮🇪 Leinster, Ireland)
You will play a critical role in evolving end-to-end consumer shopping experiences that help guests confidently discover, choose, and purchase products. You will collaborate closely with engineering to build, test, and ship ideas and learn from real-world performance.
Responsibilities
- Champion our branded salon app within your team, utilising modern workflows and user-centric thinking
- Work in a product engineering environment, working closely with an engineering team
- Plan, run, and synthesise user research to validate assumptions, de-risk decisions, and improve the experience
- Create wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and prototypes that clearly communicate intent and enable fast iteration
- Design user-centred journeys across web and mobile, balancing accessibility, performance, and brand craft
Requirements
- 4+ years of product design experience (UX/UI)
- Strong UI skills and a sharp visual design taste
- Strong understanding of information architecture, user experience, interaction, and visual design
- Proficiency in Figma and design prototyping tools
- Ability to apply user research methodologies and data to inform design decisions
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and responsive design
