The Product Designer will design across mobile and web platforms, from wireframes to production handoffs, while collaborating closely with engineers and PMs in an agile environment. They will also build and maintain the product design system in Figma and document designs thoroughly for developers.
Responsibilities
- Design across iOS, Android, and responsive web — end-to-end, from wireframes to production handoffs
- Build and maintain the product design system in Figma
- Collaborate actively with engineers in Jira-based agile sprints — not just hand off files
- Translate product requirements into clear, intuitive user experiences
- Document designs thoroughly so developers never have to guess intent
Requirements
- 4+ years of product design experience shipping real consumer or marketplace products
- Portfolio with 2–3 case studies of live, production apps with your role clearly defined
- Figma access required
- Shipped experience on iOS, Android, and responsive web — all three
- Figma mastery: components, variants, auto-layout, design systems, Dev Mode
- Comfortable reading HTML/CSS — must understand how designs get built
- Familiarity with Tailwind CSS and component libraries (shadcn, MUI, or similar)
- Has built or maintained a design system before
- Worked with developers in agile/Jira workflows
