Senior Product Designer

The role involves leading the validation of advanced electronic systems used in off-highway equipment, ensuring their reliable performance. Key responsibilities include ownership of Design Verification Plans, establishing validation strategies, and managing non-conformance issues.
Responsibilities
- Take proactive ownership of Design Verification Plan and Report (DVP&R) activities from conception through execution
- Establish and execute a unified component/system-level validation strategy across sensors, antennas, and compute platforms
- Drive strong collaboration across engineering, lab, and program teams to align validation plans with schedules and resources
- Track validation failures and utilize technical expertise to influence and drive effective closure of issues
- Plan and oversee validation across simulation, lab, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), environmental, and field testing
- Review validation results for accuracy, provide technical risk assessments, and support product release decisions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, or related)
- Proven experience developing and executing DVP&R plans within electronic product development
- Strong background tracking non-conformances and influencing the closure of validation failures
- Deep knowledge of validation methods, reliability engineering, and risk-based frameworks (FMEA)
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across cross-functional engineering and lab teams
