The Visual Designer will shape design strategy, create impactful artifacts, and drive research and testing to enhance user experiences. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring design visions to life and facilitate usability testing sessions.
Responsibilities
- Shape design strategy
- Leverage understanding of user interface patterns and behaviors to enhance user comprehension and task performance
- Utilize visualizations and interactions to facilitate analytic thinking with complex data sets
- Lead design critiques, assess interactions for inclusivity, and provide expert guidance to cross-functional teams
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Design, Human Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
- A compelling portfolio showcasing application design samples
- A minimum of 5 years of experience designing usable interfaces across multiple channels and platforms
- Experience in an applied research setting, including integrating user research into product designs and design practices
