Design Manager (CRE Civils Construction)

As a Construction CRE, you will oversee construction activities, coordinate design and survey inputs, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and program expectations. You will also manage design change requests and act as a key link between clients, designers, and subcontractors.
Responsibilities
- Carry out Contractors Responsible Engineer duties
- Oversee and monitor design, construction, and survey activities
- Manage design change requests, change orders, and design submittals
- Work closely with clients and design teams to resolve technical queries
- Identify and manage risks and opportunities across the design-construction interface
- Conduct inspections and assess construction methodologies
Requirements
- Experience in civil and rail engineering
- Knowledge of construction methods and safety requirements
- Design coordination and temporary works experience
- Stakeholder engagement and leadership skills
- Minimum BEng in Civil Engineering or equivalent
