Lead the design and development of complex product lines and strategic initiatives while driving innovation in play patterns and aesthetics. Collaborate with cross-functional and international manufacturing teams to ensure products are delivered on time and within cost.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce and deliver new product lines, segments, and innovative items on time and on cost
- Facilitate brainstorms for any brand within respective category
- Expertly research and interpret current market and consumer trends
- Ability to ideate, design and develop high complexity items or product segments for strategic initiatives with limited oversight
Requirements
- 8+ years of toy design or consumer product development experience
- Undergraduate degree in Industrial Design, BFA or equivalent; or 4+ years related experience or training
- Able to handle objections effectively and evolve discussions
- Able to plan ahead and identify strategies to keep projects on-track
