Senior UX Researcher, Hardware

Conduct independent research using various methodologies to understand user behaviors and motivations for hardware products. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to prioritize research opportunities and advocate findings through reports and presentations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct independent research on multiple aspects of products and experiences
- Collect and analyze user behavior through lab studies, field visits, ethnography, surveys, benchmark studies, server logs and online experiments
- Work with Designers, Product Managers, Engineers and other UXRs to prioritize research opportunities
- Understand and incorporate complex technical and business requirements into research
- Advocate research findings through written reports and in-person presentations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 6 years of experience in an applied research setting
- Experience with research design utilizing various methods
- Relevant product research experience
- Strong understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods
