Product Designer (UX Design)
Majid Al Futtaim Remote (🇯🇴 Amman, Amman Sub-District, Jordan)
The Product Designer will execute full-scale design projects, ensuring alignment with user needs and product goals. They will also mentor junior designers and contribute to the enhancement of the design system.
Responsibilities
- Execute full-scale design projects, from conceptualization to deployment, ensuring that each step aligns with the user's needs and the product's goals
- Advance and innovate UX processes, actively contributing to the development and refinement of design strategies and methodologies
- Conduct in-depth design audits, heuristic evaluations, and comparative analysis to maintain and improve design quality and user satisfaction
- Serve as a bridge between design, product management, and engineering teams, advocating for best practices in UX/UI while ensuring technical feasibility
- Mentor junior designers, sharing expertise and providing guidance to nurture their development and integration into the design team
- Take the initiative in DesignOps to streamline workflows and enhance the overall efficiency and quality of the design output
- Lead and facilitate creative design sessions, promoting innovative thinking and problem-solving among team members
- Contribute to the enhancement and scalability of the design system, advocating for consistency and design excellence
- Stay abreast of the latest trends in design and technology, incorporating innovative ideas and tools into the team's workflow
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field, with a preference for additional specialized training or certification in UX/UI design
- At least 4-6 years of in-depth experience in UX/UI design, with demonstrated success in leading design initiatives and projects
