Mechanical Design Systems Engineer

Lead the design engineering functions for reciprocating compressor packages, including creating production drawings, 3D models, and bills of materials. Perform technical analyses and collaborate with project managers, customers, and manufacturing teams to ensure project accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities

• Specify and size system components to support the compressor
• Create equipment production drawing and bill of material packages for manufacturing
• Perform engineering analyses via various internal software programs, excel spreadsheets, or hand calculations
• Perform material selection, review and compare to industry specifications, and minor failure analysis
• Develop schedules for the engineering execution of each project

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• 1+ years of experience in air/gas handling, rotating equipment, or heavy industrial environments
• Ability to perform engineering calculations and interpret technical drawings
• Familiarity with industry standards (ANSI, ASME, ASTM, API, MIL, SAE)
• Proficiency in engineering software (Creo, ANSYS, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office tools
