Responsibilities
- Managing and coordinating the design process from pre-construction through to project completion
- Working closely with consultants, architects, engineers and subcontractors
- Reviewing technical information and ensuring design solutions are practical and deliverable
- Identifying and resolving design issues before they impact programme or construction activities
- Supporting project teams to ensure information is issued accurately and on time
- Attending design team meetings and helping drive projects forward
Requirements
- Previous Design Management, Architectural or Technical Design experience
- Strong AutoCAD skills
- A good understanding of construction methods and technical detailing
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- The ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
