Intermediate Product Designer (Technical Design & Engineering)

Develop bespoke lighting concepts from design brief through to manufacture and installation. Support project delivery throughout production and installation phases.
Responsibilities
- Develop bespoke lighting concepts from design brief through to manufacture and installation
- Create accurate 3D CAD models and detailed manufacturing drawings
- Translate sketches, renders and design intent into engineered solutions
- Research materials, manufacturing processes and emerging technologies
- Liaise directly with specialist suppliers, fabricators and artisans
Requirements
- 2-5 years' experience in product, furniture, lighting, industrial or related design fields
- Strong CAD skills including Rhino, SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and KeyShot
- Experience producing technical and manufacturing drawings
- Good understanding of materials, manufacturing and assembly processes
