The Product Designer will operate within a small team to brainstorm and build new product ideas from initial design to final production. They will prepare renderings and 3D models for review and manage the sample development process.
Responsibilities
- Operate within a small and dynamic team charged with brainstorming and building new product ideas
- Prepare renderings and 3D models of new designs for review each season by the founders
- Implement design and spec documents, manage sample development process
- Build knowledge base of various manufacturing processes
- Keep up to date on trends and technical developments in the watch market, as well as competitive research in the marketplace
- Experiment with new, innovative materials and components
- Contribute to building an internal design philosophy for both brands
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree In Industrial or Product Design
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Strong sketching and rendering skills
- Computer Skills: 2D and 3D programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, and Solidworks)
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate new ideas
- Team-focused mentality, dedication to brand+product mission
