Design Manager – Arquitectura (Finishes)

Lead and manage the finishes design process from concept to construction, ensuring alignment with project scope, budget, and Australian regulations. Coordinate between consultants, architects, and delivery teams to resolve technical issues and ensure high-quality aesthetic outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of finishes design from concept through to construction
- Manage and coordinate consultants, interior designers, architects, and subcontractors
- Drive the resolution of design discrepancies, clashes, and technical issues related to finishes
- Oversee compliance with Australian regulations, including the NCC and relevant Australian Standards
- Act as the key interface between Design and Delivery Teams, ensuring clear communication of finishes design intent, risks, changes, and specifications
- Lead design reviews, workshops, and value engineering processes focused on finishes
Requirements
- Proven at least 5 years of experience as a Design Manager in a similar role
- Relevant qualification in Architecture
- Spanish language skills highly regarded (but not mandatory)
