Associate Principal, Mechanical, Data Center Design Engineering

The Associate Principal will manage mechanical engineering design solutions and oversee project execution while mentoring junior engineers. They will also engage in client-facing activities, including proposal preparation and participation in trade shows.
Responsibilities
- Manage innovation projects and prepare concept and product presentations
- Oversee qualification, verification and validation of system level functionality, performance, safety
- Participate in scoping, provide solution and delivery of change requests within budget and to the agreed functionality
- Lead engineering design analysis, provide guidance, supervision, review and validation of mechanical drawing and drafting packages
- Partner with internal and external teams to develop mechanical solutions
Requirements
- 15-20 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering/Consultant & Services Contractor
- Extensive experience in the Data Center industry
- ASHRAE EMC PE LEED USGBC ISO 9001 OHSAS OSHA B3 OPEX certification
- MS Office Suite proficiency
- Bluebeam Revit by Autodesk proficiency
- BIM360 Docs/Construction Cloud proficiency
- AutoCAD by Autodesk proficiency
