The Design Manager manages the design process for capital expenditure projects across CoreSite's existing facilities, focusing on interior retrofit and improvement work. This role involves coordinating design timelines, deliverables, and budgets while ensuring minimal disruption to customers.
Responsibilities
- Manage the design process for capital expenditure projects
- Coordinate design timelines, deliverables, and budgets
- Assist with maintaining CoreSite's OPR
- Capture lessons learned from each project and refine processes
- Help develop or refine processes related to design documentation
- Prepare for and support project kickoff meetings
Requirements
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment
- Flexibility to travel up to 20% of the time
- Strong knowledge of building design processes
- Demonstrated understanding of design and construction challenges
- Comfort navigating diverse jurisdictional requirements
- Working knowledge of management procedures, budgeting, and program implementation
