The role involves conceiving and designing creative artwork and editorial illustrations to visually communicate initiatives for the Department of War CIO. Responsibilities include developing interpretive themes and providing computer graphic services for web artwork.

Responsibilities

• Conceive, design, lay out, and coordinate editorial illustrations and creative artwork
• Develop interpretive themes that convey ideas and information
• Create graphic presentations that communicate mood, emphasis, insight, viewpoint, and similar visual impressions
• Provide guidance on graphic technology
• Works closely with EMSEPP leaders to understand requirements and create cost efficient graphic designs through available mediums
• Provide computer graphic services for web artwork

Requirements

• AA or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 0 years experience
• HS and 3 years related experience may be substituted for AA degree
• No prior spectrum or telecommunications required
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Collaborative team player willing and eager to learn
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a structured environment
• Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance
