Support the Design Engineering team in early-stage product development, including concept generation, CAD modeling, and engineering analysis. Assist in maintaining design documentation, tracking project deliverables, and implementing productivity improvements.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, evaluate, and understand customer design work packages, specifications, and project requirements
- Assist in developing engineering concepts, design proposals, and technical solutions
- Support the creation and maintenance of CAD models, engineering drawings, and design documentation
- Participate in design reviews and engineering discussions
- Assist in BOM creation, revision control, and engineering change documentation
- Conduct basic engineering calculations and feasibility studies
- Support tolerance stack-up evaluations and design validation activities
Requirements
- Basic understanding of engineering design principles
- Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, Creo, or similar)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes
