Lead the design process for products, balancing user experience, feasibility, and business needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product direction and ensure high-quality design implementation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design process for 0->1 products, balancing user experience, feasibility, and business needs
- Translate ambiguous, complex and technical problems into intuitive experiences
- Conduct user research to deeply understand our users’ needs and inform product strategy and design decisions
- Partner cross-functionally with PMs, Engineering, Data Science, and customer-facing teams to help define the product direction and roadmap, and translate designs to implementation
- Build prototypes and lead activities to communicate product behavior to stakeholders and gain internal and external alignment
- Own, maintain and expand our design system and practices, holding our product to a high bar for design quality and craft
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in product design
- Experience designing for data intensive, complex B2B workflows
- Comfortable owning design end-to-end and working as sole designer in a fast-paced startup environment
- Ability to translate ambiguous and technical user needs to concrete requirements and intuitive design solutions
