The Senior Design Manager will lead and mentor a team of young designers, ensuring high-quality outputs while maintaining design standards. Responsibilities include designing, planning, coordinating with professionals, and overseeing architectural work.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of young, creative designers
- Combine creativity with practical knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and execution
- Oversee and refine details related to finishes, lighting, furniture, and overall design coherence
- Ensure design intent is maintained from concept through execution
- Bring structure, discipline, and clarity to the design process
- Design, plan, and coordinate with other professionals
- Ensure that all architectural work meets the highest standards of quality and functionality
Requirements
- 15-25 years of experience in architectural/interior design
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to bridge creative vision with practical implementation
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to design excellence
- Proficiency in Architectural Design and Construction Drawings
- Experience in Design Management and Architecture
- Excellent Communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru
- Experience in commercial and residential projects is a plus
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Sketchup, Revit, Vray, Detailing drawing, BOQ, Amar S
