Hybrid $100,000 - $150,000 Full-time Senior

The Lead Product Designer will own the design process end-to-end for the core payments product, enhancing user experience and driving innovation. They will also coach other designers and maintain a design system for consistency across the product.

Responsibilities

  • Own design end-to-end within the core payments product
  • Actively suggest product improvements to enhance user experience and drive innovation
  • Design interfaces that are both functional and delightful for genuinely complex financial workflows
  • Contribute to and help maintain a design system that promotes consistency and scalability across the product
  • Coach and guide other designers, raising the quality bar across the team through feedback, process improvements and documented design knowledge
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and emerging design patterns to ensure the product remains competitive and innovative
  • Collaborate with UX researchers to gather user insights, analyse data, and translate findings into actionable design improvements

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product design experience, ideally in a B2B context
  • Proven ability to design end-to-end across large, ambiguous product areas
  • Strong systems thinker - comfortable with high-abstract tasks and system-level decisions
  • A portfolio of 2-3 cases that demonstrate strategic impact, not just execution
  • Natural collaborator who co-leads with PMs rather than waiting for direction
  • Someone who raises the bar around them - through feedback, documentation and design culture
