Graphic Designer & Content Creator at SUNY Onondaga Community College

The role involves designing high-quality print, digital, and web marketing collateral to strengthen the College's brand and messaging. The designer will collaborate with stakeholders to maintain brand consistency across all communication channels and manage the digital asset library.

Responsibilities

• Creatively design and implement high-quality marketing collateral (print, digital and web) to drive engagement and strengthen the College's brand, mission and messaging
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives, translating them into visually engaging and effective designs
• Maintain brand consistency across all communication channels, ensuring adherence to OCC's branding guidelines
• Manage and contribute to the College's digital asset library, efficiently organizing and maintaining design files
• Stay current on industry trends and design best practices, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance our visual communications, stretch the brand's potential, and take meaningful risks
• Support other design-related projects as needed, including web, social media, photography, videography, and event support

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, college or foreign equivalency in Graphic Design, Communication, Marketing or related field
• Two years of professional experience in a graphic design role
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative design skills and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
