Associate Principal, Mechanical, Data Center Design Engineering

Lead the mechanical design and execution of hyper-scale data center projects while managing client relationships and business development. Oversee the full product lifecycle from conceptual analysis to implementation, providing mentorship to junior engineering staff.
Responsibilities
- Manage innovation projects and prepare concept and product presentations
- Oversee qualification, verification and validation of system level functionality, performance, safety and ensure quality
- Participate in scoping, provide solution and delivery of change requests within budget and to the agreed functionality
- Assist in the development of project plans by scoping mechanical-related tasks including labor and materials requirements
- Lead engineering design analysis, provide guidance, supervision, review and validation of mechanical drawing and drafting packages
Requirements
- 15-20 years of experience in Data Center Mechanical Design Engineering, Consulting and leadership
- Experience with hyper-scale data centers ranging from 50MW facilities up to 1.5GW campuses
- Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year, accredited university in engineering, computer science, or other technical area
- MS Windows 10 or higher operating environment
- MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams, etc.
- Bluebeam Revit by Autodesk
- BIM360 Docs/Construction Cloud
- AutoCAD by Autodesk
